About Siofra


Síofra has been working as a holistic wellness practitioner for 8 years, specialising in women's health and embodiment. She started as a Yoga teacher and then trained in Pilates to help with the back pain she was experiencing. She combines various modalities to create a class that leaves you feeling better on all levels. In her Pilates classes, she offers layers and encourages you to challenge yourself while listening to your own body. 


Siofra creates a comfortable, calm environment for you to strengthen, release and grow. Her mission is to guide, educate and empower each person as part of their pathway to heal, connect and show up in their fullness. Síofra has been a Yoga Teacher Training Assessor for a year now, and qualifies in August as a Pilates Teacher Training Assessor. She has training in somatic healing, pre + post natal for Yoga and Pilates, and is trauma-informed. Young people aged 14-18 may be able to attend her beginner level class by prior arrangement, if accompanied by a parent / adult.


Pilates - Mixed Level: Improver to Intermediate


This class will layer in challenge and mobility. We’ll warm the body up by mobilising the joints and connecting to the Pilates Basic Principles, before adding in exercises to challenge your stability, create strength at your core, release tension in your spine and muscles. We use bands and balls for support and resistance. 


Suitable for those who have completed 6 weeks of beginner level Pilates classes as a minimum, and have developed some strength in their bodies. Young people aged 14-18 may be able to attend by prior arrangement, if accompanied by a parent / adult, and after completing a 6 week course in the Beginner level class.


Pilates - General Level: Beginners Welcome


This class will start with body awareness exercises, and a breakdown of the Pilates Basic Principles before applying them to movement. We focus on breath, coordination, mobility and stability. We use bands and balls for support and resistance. 


Suitable for those who are new to Pilates, who like a slower paced class, and a focus on technique. A perfect class for women who are post natal. Young people aged 14-18 may be able to attend her beginner level class by prior arrangement, if accompanied by a parent / adult.
