About Jess

Jess is now in her 10th year of teaching yoga at the Tree of Life Centre. She teaches the 8:15am Yang Yin yoga sessions on Mondays to Fridays throughout most weeks of the year and holds qualifications since 2009 in various disciplines including Hatha Yoga, Hot Yoga and Yin Yoga. She also has an accreditation in Resilience and Positive Psychology. Along with group yoga classes, Jess also offers 1:1 sessions which are available by contacting her.

In addition to teaching at Tree of Life, Jess also teaches yoga to professional athletes and is the Nike London Yoga Trainer, the only yoga teacher sponsored by Nike in the United Kingdom. She teaches yoga to Premier League, Champions League and various international footballers. For professional athlete enquiries, you can connect with her on LinkedIn via her full name, Jessica Foster Wingate.

Yang Yin Yoga - weekday mornings at 8:15am

Practicing yoga in the early morning will allow you to have more energy for the rest of the day. If you’re a beginner or intermediate, come along to these yoga classes with Jess. The sessions focus on warming up the body safely with a vinyasa flow sequence, followed by hatha poses, concentrating on strength, flexibility and balance. We end each class with savasana so that you leave feeling energized yet relaxed. Each class aims to help nurture your self-belief along with gaining physical, emotional and mental awareness.

Jess enjoys fostering the group dynamic in her classes, including the feeling of community and how that collective energy lifts and inspires each individual's yoga practice. She enjoys creating a holistic environment in order to provide the necessary space where one can be guided to feel physically opened and mentally balanced. Along with asana, both breath work and acupressure play large roles in her sessions.

Each single session of Yang Yin yoga is £12 and is payable at the time of booking in order for your space to be reserved.

Individual practice

Jess loves being able to bring bespoke lessons to an individual, whether they are an elite athlete or simply someone trying out yoga for the first time. If you would like to book a 1-to-1 lesson with Jess, no matter what level you are, please get in touch with the Cenrtre to book a session.

Children Do Yoga Teacher Training

Jess has taught yoga to all ages, from primary school pupils to educational conferences for teachers. She is the author of Children Do Yoga and Children Do Yoga 2. These beautifully illustrated books guiding children through yoga poses can be found in various book shops and yoga studios as well as on Amazon UK. Jess has personally trained the children’s yoga teachers at The Tree of Life. She also runs yoga sessions at NQG seminars for university students training to become

teachers.

In 2015, Jess developed a children’s yoga teacher training course which is run in ten cities throughout Great Britain. Children Do Yoga teacher training (www.childrendoyoga.co.uk) is accredited by The

Complementary Medical Association and each participant is eligible to teach children following certification and DBA check. You can contact Jess about the course at cdycoursedirector@gmail.com

Hope to see you soon!

Jess looks forward to welcoming you to her Yang Yin Yoga class, 1-to-1 yoga sessions, or at one of her children’s yoga courses.
