About Iona

Iona is a friendly, engaging and popular teacher who offers morning yoga classes, evening movement and meditation, and monthly community yoga sessions.

Iona is also a qualified Reiki master. Private treatments and gift vouchers for yoga or Reiki can be purchased by contacting her directly via iona.yogaga@gmail.com



Rise & Shine Yoga – Thursdays 8.15 am

Set the tone for the day ahead with these energising morning yoga sessions. From vinyasa-style sequences that get your energy flowing to yoga asanas (postures) for strength and breathwork (pranayama) that fosters calm. Gift yourself an hour and prepare to step into your day feeling ready for whatever comes your way.



Movement & Meditation – Wednesdays 7.30 pm

Take a mindful pause in the middle of your week and let Iona guide you through asanas (yoga postures), pranayama (breathwork) and meditation, with humour, humility and a smile on all faces. Leave your ego at the door, be kind to your body and meet yourself exactly where you are.



Community Yoga – One Sunday a month

This class is offered for people with low incomes and is paid by donation only.

Iona believes that yoga and wellness should be available to people of all ages, races, genders, sexualities, abilities and incomes. Financial constraint should not stop anyone from accessing time and space for self-care.


With her monthly yoga and wellbeing class, Iona holds a space for people of all backgrounds to come together without fear or judgement (of self or others), to experience some gentle physical yoga, breathing practices and relaxation.
