Yoga for Cancer with Eva
Eva's yoga class is aimed at supporting anyone touched by cancer, including carers: from diagnosis, to treatments and recovery. A mix of active flowing sequences and restorative postures, plus soothing breath work aimed at addressing common side effects of treatment, enhancing muscular strength, flexibility and balance; improving physiological functions, reducing stress and anxiety, chronic pain and promoting overall health and wellbeing.
Each class is welcoming to everyone, and is adapted to suit students with different physical challenges, regardless of ability. The only requirement is being able to get up and down the floor unaided.
Props are included and used for support and for restorative postures, although students are encouraged to bring their own if they feel more comfortable.
Together we can build a strong community that supports each other and the transformational process of yoga.
You can book week by week (£12/class) HERE

Eva has enjoyed practicing yoga since her 20's, working with various teachers and styles and eventually decided to train as a teacher with BeYoga.
Eva is continuously deepening her knowledge of yoga and always marvels at the beauty and the experiences that the practice brings to her life.
Having personally been touched by cancer, Eva trained with the well-established American oncology yoga organisation Y4C (Yoga for Cancer) and gained a unique qualification that enables her to teach oncology yoga with the scientific understanding of the condition, its treatments and side effects and the need for practicing safely in class. Being able to pass the emotional, physical, psychological and spiritual benefits of yoga onto her students is the reason Eva teaches today.
The hope is that you leave the class feeling like you just came back home to yourself.
Eva teaches at The Tree of Life Centre and runs small group classes and one to one.
Yoga for cancer is a progressive course and runs term time only.
