Thai Yoga Massage originates from ancient India. It combines the techniques of acupressure with assisted yoga stretches to energy lines throughout the body known as ‘Ten Sen’ to create harmony and balance in the body.
Thai yoga massage can be used therapeutically to help with a range of issues, including to:
Address issues such as back, shoulder and knee pain
Relieve aching muscles, neck and shoulder tension, headaches and menstrual cramps
Improve circulation
Deeply relax the receiver and help with sleep problems
During Thai Yoga massage, the receiver is fully clothed (in loose fitting clothes) and the massage is carried out on a futon mattress on the floor.
