Gosia's Profile
About Gosia
Gosia is a warm and highly approachable psychotherapist with 10 years of experience working both in hospital settings and private sectors, offering short- and long-term therapy. She has a caring and supportive approach and helps individuals from all walks of life with a wide range of difficulties. In addition to her private practice, she has several years of experience working in charity and private sectors in Denmark, the US and the UK, working with individuals from various different cultural backgrounds.
At different stages in our lives, we encounter difficulties that prevent us from fully enjoying life. It can be anything from anxiety or depression, to the loss of a person (through death or relationship breakdown), to deeply rooted emotional issues (such
as low self-esteem or inability to form relationships). Other times, we are unable to fully explain what is troubling us – we just know that something is.
The turbulence of life can knock us down at any point in our lives, and we might need some help to find our way again. Individual therapy gives you the space, time and consistency in your week where you can think and talk about yourself. Through that space and reflection, you can start to understand yourself better and learn skills to help you with conflict and to improve different areas in your life.

Approach
I work psychodynamically, where the therapeutic relationship is at the core, allowing for a supportive space in which change can take place. I offer a safe, confidential and non- judgemental environment where you can explore and make sense of your
emotions, thoughts and behaviours, whilst integrating CBT techniques and Mindfulness where appropriate.
Asking for help can be difficult – finding the right kind of help and support can be more challenging. With each person and issue being unique, I tailor my approach to suit each client’s needs and communication style.
Training, qualifications and, experiences:
- BA Psychology, San Francisco
- MA Counselling & Psychotherapy, London
- MSc Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, London
