Alex's Profile
About Alex
Alex is an Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist, and a trauma-informed practitioner, dedicated to helping people navigate life's most difficult experiences. He has extensive clinical experience across private practice, charities and university counselling services. His approach to therapy is deeply rooted in authenticity, compassion, and the belief that every individual has the capacity to heal and grow.
Having experienced the transformative power of counselling himself, Alex understands how daunting it can be to seek support. This personal insight shapes the warm, collaborative, and non-judgemental environment he creates, where clients feel truly heard, respected, and empowered to make meaningful change.
His Approach
Alex believes that genuine therapeutic change begins with a trusting relationship built on empathy, curiosity, and acceptance. His aim is not simply to help people manage their difficulties, but to support them in understanding themselves more deeply, building resilience, and creating lasting change that starts from within.
Working from an integrative perspective, Alex tailors therapy to the unique needs of each client, drawing on:
Person-Centred Therapy
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
