About Lisa 

Lisa Cory is a Hypnotherapist, NLP Master Practitioner, Hypnobirthing Practioner and Coach who specialises in working with both Adults and Children.

As Lisa explains:

"I am passionate about how powerful the human mind is. I love working with people to help them to work through their limiting beliefs, set and reach their goals, and generally to improve their happiness and wellbeing."

Hypnobirthing

Lisa has helped many local parents to build confidence and feel both ready and empowered for their baby's birth.

Lisa stumbled across Hypnobirthing when she was pregnant with her daughter in 2005. This was a life changing and empowering experience for her. It gave her the confidence in her body and strength of mind to enable her to have an amazingly calm and relaxed birth experience. She loved every minute of it. Lisa fell pregnant with her son 2 years later and was determined to have another amazing birth experience. 

She put into practice all that she had learnt on her Hypnobirthing course and again had an amazing birth.

Lisa’s births empowered her in a way she could never have imagined. It was the start of a new chapter in her life, and she wanted to find out more about the positive effects of Hypnotherapy, and so decided to retrain so she could help others make positive changes in their lives. 

The hypnobirthing classes help you to learn the tools for creating a calm, positive birth experience. The course includes 10 hours tuition, comprehensive course materials and an additional follow-up session with Lisa shortly prior to birth. 

There are regular start dates throughout the year on Thursday evenings.

Mindfulness for New Parents Course - £45 for 6 weeks

This mindfulness course is designed to help and support new parents while they navigate their way through looking after and caring for a baby, as well as caring for themselves.

Bring your babies, meet new parents and learn practical ways how to bring mindfulness into your daily routine for greater peace, connection and resilience.

Qualifications

Hypnotherapy – Lisa trained with Isis School of Hypnotherapy and qualified with an Advanced Diploma in Integrated Hypnotherapy and a Neuro Linguistics Practitioner (NLP) Certificate.

Hypnobirthing – Lisa has a Diploma in Hypnobirthing from the Royal College of Midwives (RCM) accredited Hypnobirthing Centre with Katharine Graves.

Childrens Hypnotherapy – Lisa trained to work with Children with Lynda Hudson of First Way Forward. She is CRB checked.

Lisa abides by a strict code of Ethics, which can be found on the General Hypnotherapy Register. She is a Licentiate member of the Hypnotherapy Association, the Hypnobirthing Association and the Association for NLP.

Accredited diploma in Coach training with Thoughtitude training.

Master Practitioner of NLP with Thoughtitude Training.
