About Charlotte
I am a registered Osteopath and Cranial Osteopath, with a Masters degree from the European School of Osteopathy (ESO).
Before becoming an Osteopath, I worked in the City as a busy Corporate lawyer. After an episode of burnout, I turned to Osteopathy when conventional medicine didn’t help me. I was amazed at how this gentle treatment had such a powerful impact and how it encouraged my body back to health. This life-changing experience inspired me to retrain as an Osteopath so that I could help others in the same way.
My gentle treatment style draws from the breadth and depth of my training at the ESO which, as an Osteopathic school is renowned for its integrated approach. As such I use a variety of techniques tailored to the individual patient, including cranial, visceral, fascial and structural techniques.
One of the favourite parts of my job is really getting to know my patients and exploring the best ways for them to find more health and balance in their life.
Cranial Osteopathy is an important part of my approach and I have completed postgraduate training with the Sutherland Cranial College of Osteopathy. I love using this gentle approach as a framework for my treatments. Its gentle nature means it is suitable for all, from the newborn baby to the older patient. I have rxtensive experience working in specialist Paediatrics and Maternity clinics and from this, I have developed a special interest in treating babies, children, and pregnant and post-natal patients.
I also have clinical experience in supporting more challenging or complex health conditions with Cranial Osteopathy, including liaising and working with other health professionals where needed.
In my spare time I love to swim and practise yoga, read astrology books, take long walks in nature, and travel and experience different cultures.

Charlotte’s Recent Testimonials
Long Covid/CFS
“We had a great experience at the Centre. My 11 year old daughter had been suffering with chronic fatigue, suspected as Long Covid, for five months, along with ongoing chest pain and inflammation. We decided osteopathy was worth exploring and booked Charlotte Ward.
Charlotte is a lovely warm person which immediately made our daughter feel at ease. And since being treated by Charlotte, our daughter has been making an excellent recovery and healing really well. It's been revelatory what a difference it has made.
We cannot recommend Charlotte enough.”
Neck pain & Labyrinthitis:
"Charlotte is so lovely - she’s so warm and friendly and offers so much advice. She’s really helped with my neck pain and I would recommend her to everyone." Jo, 48.
Knee pain
"Charlotte is a natural healer. I had constant discomfort for TWO YEARS after twisting my knee and have now felt a great improvement after just one visit. I can not recommend her too strongly. She is an absolute treasure.” Edwin, 76.
