The Team
Low-Cost Acupuncture Clinic
The Low Cost Acupuncture clinic was the first of its kind in the UK which made affordable treatment available using professional traditional acupuncture in the hands of experienced practitioners at a multi-bed community clinic.
The sessions are available to everyone without restriction, for first-time patients and continuing treatment. The low-cost team are committed to making the highest quality of acupuncture treatment as accessible and affordable as possible.
You will receive individualised treatments for your specific issues, but several people are treated at the same time, in the same space as other clients. Modesty is always respected, and most people find the atmosphere inviting, comfortable and relaxing. If you would prefer private one-to-one sessions, please contact us, or read more about it in the acupuncture pages.

Traditional Acupuncture
Your acupuncturist will listen to your complaints, ask some questions, and talk with you about your general health. They will then check your pulse on your wrists and look at your tongue. Acupuncture points can be anywhere on the body, the most common areas being your lower legs and feet, and lower arms and wrists. Needles are either left in place for between 15 - 30 minutes, or may removed immediately.
Your acupuncturist will advise you about when to have follow-up treatments, and how long a course of treatment might take. The team is committed to treating all patients with the same care, respect & quality as private one-to-one acupuncture sessions.
