Tom is one of Brighton & Hove's most experienced acupuncturists after dedicating all of his working life to health care, both as a registered nurse and complementary health practitioner. He is passionate about using his skills and knowledge to help people achieve their health potential.

Tom uses traditional oriental medicine drawing from ancient texts to help balance people's energy flow. As well as acupuncture - using hair like needles and acu points to effect change - he also uses a warming herb called "moxa", various different massage techniques known as Tuina, alongside nutrition and  also helping to teach his patients QiGong, so they may harness the mechanisms of self healing.

His extensive training and experience enables Tom to support each client's wellbeing both physically and emotionally, with a specicialist interest being support for people experiencing the grieving process. Patients can find that anger levels diminish, and they can communicate more effectively after receiving treatments.

As a registered nurse, Tom specialised in intensive care and clinical research for many years, whilst currently working part-time as a nurse in the community. His patients also benefit from this knowledge base as part of which he offers well-people health checks covering:

Tom is a member of the British acupuncture council and abides by their codes of ethics and best practice, he is also fully insured.
