Hypnotherapy
Hypnotherapy is a gentle, safe and powerful tool to facilitate change. The natural power of your own mind is used to relieve symptoms, alter unwanted behaviour patterns and establish new ways of thinking and processesing your experiences.
Hypnotherapy is about feeling empowered and taking control. It is not about being made to do things subconsciously. Hypnotherapy is entirely safe; you are aware and in control throughout the whole session. In fact it is a wonderfully enjoyable experience that will leave you feeling positive and refreshed. It is a state of relaxation similar to that when you are drifting off to sleep or daydreaming, aware of your surroundings but in an altered state of consciousness.
The subconscious is the part of the brain that stores information on everything that has ever happened to us. Hypnotherapy can guide the mind to access memories that may be relevant to our current condition, helping us to understand and alleviate the emotional and behavioural causes of our distress or problem. By working with the subconscious in a state of hypnosis, it is possible to positively affect even hard-wired physical functions such as pulse rate, blood pressure, hormone balance and immune function.
Hypnotherapy enables people to achieve what they want to achieve by awakening abilities that often appear beyond a person’s control. This great untapped power of the deepest layers of our mind can also be called upon to help us reach our goals, develop self-knowledge and inner peace. As it works at such a deep layer of the mind, change can often be achieved quite rapidly, and lastingly.
