Breathing Space is a weekly class teaching transformative breathing techniques to relieve stress, boost inner wellbeing and restore flowing, natural movement.
Breathing. We do it all day long, and assume that a healthy breathing pattern comes naturally, right? But the fast-paced, stressful nature of modern life means that without realising it, many of us aren’t breathing the way we are designed to.
When breath doesn’t flow where it should, we end up holding excessive muscle tension, internalising stress, and struggling to relax and unwind. This unconscious tension not only throws our acid-alkaline and oxygen-CO2 levels off balance, it can also cause a wide range of symptoms that we’d never guess are caused by breathing; from digestive issues, headaches and muscle tension, to anxiety, fatigue and insomnia.
This empowering course will teach you how to use the extraordinary power of your breath to improve many aspects of your wellbeing. You will gain simple, enjoyable techniques that you can use throughout your day, to create a deep sense ease, comfort and peace in your body like never before.
Many people find huge emotional as well as physical benefit from learning how to release their restrictions, and embrace the flow of breath through their body. It connects us more fully to ourselves, the bigger picture of our life, and provides a welcome sanctuary from the many demands of daily life; a sanctuary that is available to us wherever we are.
